The Shaker dining chair design often has a tapered leg from solid hardwoods. The shaker designs go well with the shaker dining tables found in the table section. Building shaker chairs from solid hardwoods takes time, so please expect an 8 to 10 week lead time.
You can find shaker style chairs on display at our Coates Minnesota Amish Store. This Amish Furniture Minnesota location is just South of the MSP Airport on Highway 52. Nearly all of our solid hardwood chairs come standard with an 18" high seat that goes with a standard 30 inch tall dining table. If you need a custom height chair please call for details.
Our line of upholstered chairs is gaining popularity. Amish chair builders are not well known for building with fabric, but we offer some beautiful hand built fabric chairs to last many years. You can choose from our standard leather or fabric choices, or we can use your fabric on the chairs. We will supply you with the yardage upon request. We will NOT use other foams or pads provided by the clients.
Product and Services
Our trestle tables are American furniture made of solid hardwood, with self store leaves. All of our trestle dining tables are built from solid hardwoods and connected with time tested mortise and tennon jointery. A trestle table base is often shaped like the letter "H". The two end pieces often have a "cover plate" to hide the connecting bolts holding the center trestle table stretches in position. The stretchers hold the table leaves inside while stored.

We also special build narrow trestle dining tables for clients with narrow rooms. These tables can self store leaves and will last many generations. Amish Showroom builds American made Amish furniture with solid oak leg tables and sells them direct to the consumer. All dining tables are made from solid cherry, or the listed hardwood, and custom sized to suit your needs. Our Amish dining table craftsmen only use lumber they harvested and kiln dried to meet their high quality standards. Our custom Amish leg tables are very strong and will last generations.
